The Elite 21 N comes standard with 10/100 BaseT Ethernet included, so there are no additional cards or modules to buy for network connectivity. The printer supports connections via EtherTalk®, TCP/IP, and peer-to-peer via Windows® and Novell NetWare® networks. Printer sharing has never been easier.

When it comes to paper handling, the Elite 21 N is easily expandable to satisfy the most demanding requirements. The Elite 21 N can handle media from 16 lb. bond to 80 lb. cardstock from any tray in sizes from index card to legal. With our custom paper size option, you can print to the exact specifications of your media. The standard paper tray and each optional additional tray will hold up to 550 sheets (more than a standard ream of paper per tray.) Added to the 100-sheet capacity of the standard multi-purpose feeder (which can also support 10 envelopes), the printer has a maximum capacity of 1,750 sheets, meaning far fewer trips to the printer to refill trays. Each tray has a visual paper level indicator on the outside, so keeping an eye on your paper supply is quick and easy.

The Elite 21 N is a printer designed with your convenience in mind. The controller can be upgraded over the Internet via high-speed synchronous flash - which assures you always have the most current software features. The 500-sheet upper output bin offers job offset capability, so you never have to fumble through pages of printouts to get your document. And, you'll save tedious trips to the printer with the Print Last Job feature. Simply print one copy from your computer, preview it at the printer, then print as many more as you like right from the printer's control panel.

The Elite 21 N can be easily upgraded by adding a simple-install duplex unit or additional memory up to 256 MB.
