Complete both pages of this form and fax or mail to GCC. Complete both pages of this form and
fax or mail to GCC.
Please complete this form and fax it back to GCC Tech Support at (781) 275-1115. Once Tech
Support receives this completed form, they will contact you with the RMA #. The receipt of any
product which is not properly authorized or over 30 days after being given an RMA No. will be
refused resulting in immediate return to the customer at the customer's expense.

- The address label must clearly display the valid RMA number and the return shipping
address.
- Your laser printer should be packed in its original box and packaging. If the printer
arrives damaged due to improper packaging, the warranty and any flat rates will be void. If
packing materials are damaged, new materials may be purchased from GCC, call Tech Support for
a quote on the cost of these materials. Warning: Using inadequate packing materials will
result in shipping damages.

The following items, if available, should be removed from your printer. Do not return these
items unless authorized.
- Toner cartridge/CRU
- Paper tray(s)
- Additional cassette feeder (LPTA)
- EP Magazine (Process Unit)
- Paper exit tray, MultiPurpose feeder (MPF)
- These consumables and accessories should be retained by you if you are expecting your
unit to be repaired and returned to you. If you are not expecting to receive this printer
back, you should repack these items as you received them. The EP Magazine, Toner, or CRU
should be securely wrapped in plastic to prevent leakage. Warning: The EP Cartridge
and CRU (from Elite XL & Elite 600) contain a photosensitive drum that can be damaged if
exposed to sunlight or exposed to room lights for more than 5 minutes. Keep the EP Cartridge,
or CRU in total darkness until you are ready to install the EP Cartridge or CRU into the
printer. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the EP Cartridge, or CRU is not
damaged while the printer is being repaired. Important: Failure to remove toner, EP
magazine, or CRU from the engine prior to shipment will cause significant damage to your
printer. You will be held financially responsible for any damage which occurs.
- GCC will not be responsible for any damage to your product caused by failing to properly
follow these instructions, or other negligence in the return or operation of your printer
including damage caused by your shipping agent. Specifically, if your returned product is a
"toner bomb" resulting from improper packing or damage during shipment caused by you or your
shipping agent, you will be responsible for all parts and labor involved in repairing the
printer, if the printer is deemed repairable. Charges may also be assessed for any unreturned
or missing components, consumables or accessories.
- You MUST enclose print samples with the printer if the failure is related to print
quality issues. Failure to enclose print samples will delay the overall repair time. Also,
please enclose a letter detailing the failure.
- These instructions and policies must be acknowledged in writing by signing and returning
this document to GCC before GCC will issue a valid RMA number, which is good for 30
days.
- The return shipping address MUST be on the outside of the box. Also, the RMA # must be
clearly displayed on the outside of the box. The RMA # is valid for 30 days. Any product
returned outside the 30 days will be refused.

Acknowledgment:
I have read and understand the above, and I will pay for any and all damages to the
printer should I fail to remove any of the necessary items, or should I pack my printer or
its components incorrectly.

RMA Packaging Instructions
When shipping a printer to GCC Printers please follow these packaging instructions to insure
your printer will not be damaged during the shipping process:
- Printer must be packaged in original box and foam. If packing materials are damaged, new
materials will be provided upon request, for a small fee.

If you choose to use your own box and foam, please note the following:
- Use a sturdy box.
- The box must be bigger than the printer.
Box must have at least 5 inches of space on all 6 sides.
- Use 5-6 inches of sturdy complete styrofoam on all 6 sides. Do not leave a side
unprotected.
- DO NOT USE PEANUTS or BUBBLE WRAP. Use 5-6 inches of packing styrofoam on ALL 6
sides.

For all laser printers, remove Toner, EP Magazine or CRU from printer. Keep these items at
your location in a dark, protected area. Do NOT expose the EP Magazine or CRU to sunlight
or direct light for any amount of time.
NOTE: The EP Magazine and CRU contain a photosensitive drum that can be damaged if
exposed to sunlight or exposed to room lights or more than five minutes.
DO NOT SHIP ANY OF THESE ITEMS (toner, EP Magazine, or CRU) WITH THE PRINTER!
- Make sure RMA is clearly displayed on outside of box.
- Your complete name and return shipping address must be clearly displayed on the outside
of the box.
- We suggest that you insure your package.
If GCC Printers receives a printer that has not been properly packaged and is damaged,
the warranty and/or flat-rate repair price will be voided and will no longer apply. In many
cases, the damaged printer will be unrepairable. GCC reserves the right to deem a damaged
printer as unrepairable. By signing this document, the customer agrees to these conditions and
assumes responsibility for any packaging that does not meet the standards listed above.
